Officiating Excellence
The NKOA has provided High School Football Officials to Northern Kentucky partner schools since 1967. This history of excellence has been recognized state wide through playoff and finals selections year in and year out.

Community Involvement
The NKOA is not only involved in the community through our commitment to officiating. We volunteer our time and also individual game fee’s to local causes every year.
Special Olympics
Every year the NKOA officiates the “Northern Kentucky Regional Flag Football Tournament” for the Special Olympics at Thomas Moore University.
Newport FD Coat Drive
In 2019 Members of the NKOA donated $500 in game checks to the Newport Firefighters of Local 45 IAFF’s winter coat drive.
Campbell County FOP/ Covington PD
In 2019 Members of the NKOA donated $500 in game checks to the Campbell County FOP and the Covington Police Department to support their Shopping with the Cops Holiday drive.
Training and Support
The association has been in place for over 50 years thanks to the community of officials supporting each other in various ways.
Training Meetings
With 6 annual membership meetings we ensure our officials are up to speed with the current best practices and rules changes.
Arbiter Schedules
The association covers the fees associated with setting up members in the industry leader Arbiter for managing all schedules.
Hudl
The association sets up every member with their own Hudl account for film study. Each of our partner schools share every game film so our officials can conitnue to improve their craft.
